As a Korean Canadian, I have referred to myself as a POC (Person of Colour), but isn’t attempting to represent so many different identities in a single term a product of colonialism? Why should we perpetuate the notion that all people of colour are homogeneous? When our diversity among all ethnicities is not acknowledged it contributes to our dehumanization.
